The Tracy Family

I've had the pleasure of photographing my old classmate Sam for several years now. She hired me for her maternity session, and then we photographed her twins around the time they were learning to walk. This year they are nearly three, and they are the most mobile I have ever seen them. This age seems to bring out particular challenges for me, not having any children in my everyday life to be accustomed to directing. So rather than continue bugging these kids to try to get them to stand where I want or look at the camera, we just let them run around and play, and I tried to document them as they were. Even that was at times a challenge, as they were fast and always running away. But in the end, we got some great shots of them.
